The desk
These terms cover use of the FOX TERMINAL desk at foxterminal.infinet.services. Signing in means you accept them.
FOX TERMINAL is a research and paper-trading desk. You can review charts and news, test strategy cards, and keep a paper book. FOX TERMINAL is not a broker, an exchange, or an investment adviser.
Paper trading
Paper fills are simulated records on the desk. They are desk records, not orders sent to a brokerage, and not cash in a bank or exchange account.
Paper profit and loss is a score on that book. A past paper result does not predict a future result.
Research, not advice
Cards, charts, news, Ask AI replies, and Studio drafts are research tools on the desk. They are not investment, legal, or tax advice. You decide what to do with them. Any real order you place at a broker is your own decision and your own risk.
Accounts
Keep the desk password private. Anyone who knows that password uses the owner desk with you. A Google account stays on its own desk. An admin may hold a new Google user until that user is approved.
You are responsible for activity under a session you leave open on a shared browser.
Acceptable use
- Use the desk for your own research and paper book.
- Do not attempt to break, scrape, or overload the service.
- Do not place secrets into chat, cards, or notes if you do not want them stored in the desk record.
- Follow the law and the rules of any exchange account you connect.
Demo connections
Teach can observe a demo or testnet account after you connect a key. That connection is for reading the account. It does not send orders. You choose the key, and you can leave the connection off.
Real-money routes
A live or real-money route, when the desk offers one, stays off until it is connected and explicitly switched on. A label on the screen is not, by itself, a live brokerage session.
Where a real-money route is on, orders use real funds and can lose money. You remain responsible for that choice, including size, stops, and whether to leave it armed.
Availability
The desk can pause for maintenance, a data-feed failure, or the kill switch. Quotes, news, and paper fills can be late or missing during those periods. The desk does not promise continuous uptime.
Responsibility
The desk is provided in the form it runs on the day you use it. To the extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for trading losses, missed paper fills, delayed data, or decisions you make from the desk.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top will change. Continuing to use the desk after that date means you accept the updated terms.
